Suzanne and Rachel are dedicated producers and passionate about every project they take on. With their shared experience and skills the team at Layer Cake can take on any production challenge.

                        is an Emmy-nominated producer with more than 15 years’ experience creating content in all facets of pop culture. She’s spent 24 hours live with the Foo Fighters, survived the Insane Clown Posse’s tour bus, and talked splatter with horror master Wes Craven. 

 

In 2010, she produced New York Emmy-nominated behind-the-scenes web coverage of MSG's first ever 3D hockey game. She generated concepts and oversaw production of graphics for the late-night social comedy show "Totally Biased with W. Kamau Bell." 

 

On the tech side, Rachel was a pioneer in the digital programming space and played a critical role in revamping the multiplatform department at Fuse TV - overseeing production and strategy for web, mobile, VOD and SMS content.

 

She's also created promotional content including on-air spots, sales tapes, sizzle reels and barker channel loops. 

                             is a sought after producer and showrunner who specializes in bringing a comedic vision to life. Recently Fagel has been a part of the EP team behind Comedy Central's "The President Show." She has developed and produced projects with everyone from iconic comedian Jim Norton to up-and-coming MTV digital phenomenon Mike Kelton. She helped lead the successful run of 'Totally Biased with W. Kamau Bell." under executive producer Chris Rock and was also part of the team to launch TruTV’s very popular “Impractical Jokers."

 

Her comedy background also includes ESPN's "Mayne Street," MTV’s “Wonder Showzen,” Comedy Central hits such as "Adult Content with Greg Giraldo," "Stand-Up Nation with Greg Giraldo," Robert Smigel’s SNL spin-off "TV Funhouse," "Upright Citizens Brigade," and "Viva Variety.”  She’s regularly collaborated with The Daily Show co-creator Lizz Winstead on shows for Oxygen, CourtTV and WE.
